One more hour to Hong Kong. We are flying over the South China Sea. I know of great rivers which flow into this body of water. The Philippine islands are about an hour south west of my current position.

America's troubled past ... God please watch over Mrs. Fielders' son. Mrs. Fielders is Julia's wonderful 2nd grade school teacher. Her son is being deployed to Iraq in a few days. How will Iraq be remembered?

20 minutes to Hong Kong. Should I get off and go for a walk? (refueling stop) It's dark. I wish the sun was out so I could see this great place ... The sun is barely waking and it's cloudy. My eyes want to see.

Why doesn't someone HOLD THAT LITTLE GIRL? She's crying terribly. My best memories of my children's early years are the hours of holding, walking, bonding and comforting each other. A flight attendant's smile and soft words calm the child. The father picks up his daughter and walks with her. She is calm. She is peaceful.

Landing in Hong Kong. It is raining now. We have one hour on the ground. The AIR CHINA planes (Dragon Air) fill the areas outside the terminal. My passport is in my front pocket next to my wallet. I hope I don't get lost.
