Hong Kong Airport - It was very good talking to Jennie and Christopher. We had just landed and we were preparing to disembark. I was trying to call home. It doesn't go through. My heart is heavy. And guess what? My phone rings ... wait a minute, it's a mini miracle. Did you hear that Mando? It's a mini miracle. I get a well needed heart boost (just like Jamba Juice). It's Jennie "The love of my life". It is so good to hear her voice. I have to hang up because I'm now going through a security checkpoint. I get through security and I want to hug Jennie and the kids so much. Time for a short stroll through the airport.
There are all kinds of high end shopping places here. Hugo Boss, Chanel, Alfred Dunhill, Bally, Burberry, Fendi, Gucci, Montblanc, Prada, Ralph Lauren - one can shop on and on and on and on and on. It's a beautiful airport.
Will she call again? She does. I fumble around to get the phone out of my stuffed pockets and I miss the bloody call.
I walk some more. Time is going fast on this stop. Time to find Gate 16. I text message Christopher. I get a call back. It's Jennie and Christopher. The Juj is at Linda Mood-Belle. Another timely heart boost.
I had a nice walk.
I get back on the plane and get settled in my window space. I have to here their hearts again - another text message to Pops (Call me). And he calls back. I talk to "My Three". (Flash!!! The kids are growing up fast). The stewardess is kind of upset with me and tells me to get off the phone. We were instructed to turn electronic gizmos off. But I needed to hear, I needed to feel their heart beats, "My Three Beats".
I'm happy for now.
