Spike Gate: Cookie Caper
White board artist: Alex Cheung (aka MoC)
Commentary: Ed Espino (aka IV Dude)

White Board Art that started a Revolution!

Hey, does anyone know how to piss off a man who loves his chocolate chip cookies?  As my daughter would say, "Duh".  You steal the cookies from him when he's not looking.  And then you pretend you had nothing to do with the illegal act.  And thus the "Spike Gate: Cookie Caper" white board masterpiece was created.

As he tried to determine the fate of the baked goods and apprehend the cookie kleptomaniac, the IV Dude found himself accusing and interrogating just about everyone.

What is almost as hilarious as the main theme was the creaton of the cubicle police character.  I took part in an infamous unauthorized cubicle move for which I will never forget.  I'm finding it easier to stand up for what I feel is right.  Could it be senility setting in?  I'm sure my wife thinks it's very plausible.  And who in the hell said "It is easier to ask for forgiveness then permission".  That sucker should be taken out back and shot.

Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in the art work commentary are those of the person (me: Ed Espino) occupying the cubicle in which the white board resides and not those of my employer (SpikeSource).

oh! man.. this should be the longest hunt for the stolen cookies! As far as I can remember this started at the old office - 2 on Sandhill!

And, I know nobody has picked up the blame yet. Well, these comments can be anonymous too, so, if you are the one, speak up! :)

Dude, I so want to know who introduced that phrase!! I saw it in our SpikeZilla quip. I was inspired by it, and acted. "Duh", did I have to ask for forgiveness...

However, we all know that there are days we have to apologize for being complacent and not standing up. Not sure that I like that either. The question persist, is it better to ask for forgiveness or permission.

Missing cookies... hmmmm. Got Water? The mystery continues. In the immortal words of Sgt. Schultz, "I know nothing!"
